Penn’s Village: A Network, not a Place

Penn’s Village is a network of neighbors helping neighbors age in place. We enable older adult Philadelphians to live independently in their homes, while connecting with others through stimulating, educational and entertaining programs, social activities, and volunteer-provided services.

Offering services in central Philadelphia neighborhoods while increasing our outreach efforts to under-represented communities, our non-profit organization has grown and thrived. Membership has doubled, volunteerism has tripled, programs and events have quadrupled since Penn’s Village was founded in 2008.

Our programs are designed to enrich your retirement years and include guided tours, lectures and workshops presented by experts. Members also participate in a variety of interest groups. In addition to our programs, our trained and vetted volunteers are here for you so you can stay in your own home as long as you are able. Please view our broad range of services HERE.
