In honor of Pride Month and the significant contributions of LGBTQ+ writers in arts and culture, Penn’s Village gathered for a selection of readings chosen by our members. Pieces will include:

· “Understanding Issues Facing LGBTQ+ Adults” by SAGE: Advocacy and Services for LGBTQ+ Elders (Mark Raymond)

· “On Choosing Happiness” by Genevieve Wicks (Patricia Nemirovsky Alsina)

· “7 Coming Out Stories” from the Harvard Business School Pride Club (Brian Wengenroth)

· A Selection of Poems by Mary Oliver (Judith Sachs)

· A Selection of Writing by Mark Doty (John Erickson)

We joined to celebrate our LGBTQ+ members and all they do to help Penn’s Village “connect, engage and thrive!”
