Phase One of the Philadelphia Rail Park is now open!

The plans for the whole park reach across miles of historic rail lines, connecting 10+ neighborhoods from Northern Liberties to Brewerytown. The idea is that the site will become a greenway, filled with pathways and plants, with open spaces and inviting faces, and all kinds of programming that will serve Philadelphians and visitors alike.

This lecture and tour covered a portion of the park that has been built over an abandoned railroad viaduct in Phase One.
