It’s hard to find anyone anywhere who’s more passionate about Philadelphia, it’s incredible history, and the city’s dynamic food scene than Emilio Mignucci of DiBruno Bros. After all, as one of Philadelphia’s true culinary stars and DiBruno’s “Big Cheese,” his family’s history as Philadelphia’s premier cheese mongers goes back more than three generations.
You’ll learn about the DiBruno’s family history, which began when Emilio’s uncle and grandfather arrived in America and became vendors in the Italian Market. You’ll also find out about the company’s past and discover what’s in the works for the near future. You’ll taste some incredible goodies and get to know the store like you never knew it before.
So bring a bag, some cash, and your tastebuds, because you will want to pick up a treat or two to take home!
Guests will meet upstairs at DiBruno’s for coffee, water and pastries and conversation with Emilio. We will then go on a tour and learn more about the operation, before we disperse and go shopping!
